Akarguard has one plan, Standard. Your first domain is €9.90 a month and every domain you add is €1 a month. Each domain includes ten subdomains besides its apex and www. name, so names like shop., api. or panel. cost nothing extra. Every feature is included on every domain: Layer 7 DDoS protection with automatic mitigation, a hidden origin IP, the web application firewall, bot management, free TLS certificates, attack alerts and a daily PDF attack report. One domain costs €9.90 a month, five cost €13.90; you can add or remove domains at any time from the dashboard. Hosts and agencies with many domains can talk to us about volume pricing.
A registrable name such as example.com or example.com.tr. It covers the bare name, its www. name and up to ten other subdomains, for example shop.example.com and api.example.com. A different name, such as example.net, is a second domain at €1 a month with its own ten subdomains.
No. Attack traffic is filtered at the edge and never counts toward your plan or its traffic allowance — you are not billed for the flood. The fair-use allowance covers your normal, legitimate traffic only; the attacker's traffic is not part of it.
No. Protection is delivered as a reverse proxy: you point your domain's DNS at the Akarguard edge, and traffic is filtered before it reaches the server you already have. Your hosting, your stack and your deployment process stay exactly as they are.
Usually under ten minutes of work, plus DNS propagation. You add the domain in the dashboard, prove ownership with a TXT record, point the A record at the edge address shown to you, and activate. A free Let's Encrypt certificate is issued automatically.
Yes. Every subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. You enter card details to start it, nothing is charged during those 7 days, and cancelling before the trial ends means you are never billed.
The edge filters attack traffic and forwards clean requests to your origin, so the site stays online. Under load it serves a browser check that real browsers clear automatically. You get an email when an attack starts and a daily PDF report of the day's attacks, and the dashboard shows live traffic and every mitigation event.
Yes. Because protection is a DNS change rather than a migration, removing it is also a DNS change: point the record back at your origin. There is no proprietary format to export and nothing installed on your server.
Yes. Browser challenges are applied per domain and per mode, so an API hostname can be protected with rate limiting and filtering while never being shown an interstitial that an API client could not solve.
