How quickly are attacks mitigated?

Detection and initial mitigation occur in under one second. Full scrubbing is typically in place within 5–10 seconds of the attack signature being identified.

Will legitimate traffic be blocked during an attack?

Our scrubbing systems are designed to pass clean traffic while dropping attack traffic. In some high-volume scenarios a brief period of elevated latency may occur, but service disruption to legitimate users is minimised.

Do I need to change my IP addresses or server to use Akarguard?

No. Akarguard works as a reverse proxy — you simply update your DNS records to point your domain at our scrubbing network. Your server and IP addresses stay exactly as they are.

What is the onboarding process?

After you sign up, our team will schedule a technical onboarding call. Most customers are fully protected within a few hours of that call.
